We Weren’t Always Farmers
We weren’t always farmers. In fact, we had no experience at all. But when my grandmother — who we called Gigi — passed away, we knew we couldn’t let go of the land that had been her heart and home for decades.
So, we left behind our suburban life in Illinois, packed up our dreams (and kids!), and traded stress for soil.
The move wasn’t just about the farm — it was about healing. After years of high stress and seeing the impact it was having on my health, I knew something had to change.

I also knew I wanted a different life for our kids — one rooted in nature, wellness, and connection. So we decided to homeschool right here on the farm, where every lesson is about health, family, and love.
Life here is different. We’ve learned to slow down. We’ve learned that in a small Wisconsin town, everyone has time for a chat — even the grocery store cashier! We’re still finding our way, but one thing is certain — this place was meant to be shared.
